Ms Wendy Wen was appointed as a Brisbane International Student Ambassador to represent Taiwan in promoting Brisbane as a location for study and lifestyle. The Ambassador program was managed by Brisbane Marketing’s Study Brisbane program, the city’s agency dedicated to advance the development of the international education sector.

Demonstrating 'real' life experiences of students studying in Brisbane and Australia is an important objective for both AEI Taipei and Study Brisbane.

As part of AEI Taipei’s commitment to increasing student mobility, the organisation has in the past interviewed Taiwanese and Australian students about their overseas study experiences. Most recently AEI produced a four part video series for the Taiwan higher education market, covering lifestyle, homestay, English language intensive courses for overseas students (ELICOS), and student life in Australia.

Study Brisbane works to demonstrate ‘real’ student experiences in Brisbane through its active student ambassador program. The agency provides student-to-student communication, translated site content and most recently, launched ‘A student’s day in Brisbane’, a short promotional film which has been watched and downloaded worldwide.

The video incorporates an interview with Ms Wen, Brisbane Marketing footage, personal footage and photos provided by Ms Wen.
