Wuxi – This was a big buddha on a small island at the touristy Taihu – or Tai lake. My friend lives in Wuxi and was great enough to show me around for the afternoon. Wuxi is about an hour away from Shanghai.

Volunteering at a Childrens heart hospital. Just hanging out with some kids for a couple of hours. I think these guys were from out of town. I guess people from smaller towns would have to come to Shanghai for treatment of heart conditions.

Balance – do not be affected by the forces around you. Hear without hearing, feel without feeling.

2 great friends. I go to this restaurant to eat about once or twice a week. They are so nice. The one on the right is my temporary mum. I decided one day to help them with their duties and have cleaned tables and mopped the floors here. I told them it’s about time I did some chores. I actually miss doing some chores back home.

The Brisbane International is a professional tennis tournament held each year at the Queensland Tennis Centre. The competition is part of the ATP World Tour 250 series. Some of the world best players come to compete: Serena Williams, Andy Murray, Gilles Simon, Kim Clijsters, Ana Ivanovic.

I was lucky to watch three games with players like Srena, Ivanovic, Tomic and Benneteau. Me and two other ambassadors (Ming and Doris) were privileged to be seated in a corporate suite with all the comfort and people from Brisbane Marketing as well as the Lord Mayor of Brisbane.

The Birsbane International is a competition that is gaining importance on the international professional tennis circuit. The atmosphere is very relax and casual and it is a good occasion to get the family out.

I was also very happy to meet in person Andy Murray, currently ranked world No 4 best tennis player!

Brisbane International - a surreal day begins my 2012

posted by:Doris (Yang) Zhang

I didn't expect to lose my virginity experience of watching-tennis to Brisbane International in the corporate suite with Brisbane Marketing watching some of the BIG names playing: Serena Williams and Bernard Tomic

How fantastic it is! Best New Year gift EVER. On top of that, we had photo shoot with Andy Murray.

It was a surreal day to start my 2012 according to the following points:

Surreal day point gained: being the supportive audience for Bernard Tomic in 2012 while was watching him on TV playing with Nadaao wishing to see him in person in 2011.

Surreal day point gained: photo shoot with No. 2 and currently No. 4 tennis player Andy Murray.

After Andy, the tennis Tournament director Steve Ayles came in and had a big chat with the group.

When we were enjoying fun time with the feast, we couldn't forget this place was heavily flooded in 2011.

Surreal day point gained: I was standing in a place where was totally flooded the same time in 2011

The steak was bit dry.

Thanks to Brisbane Marketing who brought us here: Queensland Tennis Center for my surreal day experience in 2012.

The sign of our corporate suite. Player restaurant just around the coner where you could have a feast of tennis stars.

Interesting facts spotted:
1. Among all the sponsors, a Chinese brand catched my eyes: PEAK sports. It's a national brand from Fu Jian province.
2. Volunteers have to stand in between of the sign of sponsorships.

About Williams, I memorised this video:
