useful advice

Careers fairs - Most universities in Queensland hold annual careers fairs. They bring together a wide range of graduate employers and are a great way to quickly and easily gather information about upcoming job opportunities. The majority of these careers fairs are held in March & April of each year. The National Careers & Employment Expo is another source of information and is held annually in Brisbane.

Application deadlines/Closing dates - Make sure to check employers’ deadlines for graduate employment applications, most graduate programs with January start dates close their applications between March and May the previous year.

It is advisable that you start looking and organising graduate jobs well before you finish your degree so you can organise relevant visas before you begin your job.
